Connecting Solutions uses an interactive approach to counseling that is warm, engaging, and supportive. You and the therapist develop goals that describe the changes you hope to make. The goals guide you to the solutions that can help you improve how you feel about yourself and your day-to-day relationships. Because of the significance of human diversity and difference, your values are explored so that they can be incorporated into solutions that are consistent with your needs.
Adult, Adolescent, Child, Couple/Partner, Family, and Group Counseling & Group Support Services are available by appointment.
Based on demand, the following support and counseling groups can be provided: Grief Support Group; Survivors of Suicide Support Group; OCD Coping Strategies Support Group; Parenting Support Group.
Persistent emotional experiences where counseling services may provide support include, but are not limited to: excessive worry and anxiety; depressed mood; prolonged hoplessness; fear and social withdrawal; excessive prolonged sadness or grief; loneliness, isolation, and a loss of interest/pleasure; low self esteem, shame, or worthlessness; excessive periods/outbursts of anger or rage.
Current charges for individual, family, and spouse/partner/couple sessions range from $60 to $95, based on session lengths that range 30 to 50 minutes, respectively. Monthly-rate options are available to offer discounts for long-term counseling needs, and to accommodate financial needs. Limited sessions are available to assist sliding scale needs, with fees for sessions ranging from $40 to $60.
Based on demand, weekly and bi-weekly group services are also available. These services offer the benefit of other individuals with common life demands and situations. At this time, Support Group fees range from $20 to $40 per session, with an additional $35 nonrefundable registration fee. First time registrants are required to schedule a 50-minute consultation and screening to determine readiness for group support process. The fee for the screening and consultation is $125, which includes the $35 registration if group support is appropriate. Monthly-rate options, that can accommodate financial needs, are also available for groups.
